Under The Sea – Original Fluid Art Canvas Set

This artwork was originally created for my own hallway, but my other half wasn’t quite as keen on it as I was. Rather than hide it away, I’ve decided to offer it to someone who will truly enjoy it in their home – and it simply gives me the perfect excuse to paint another one!

This striking piece consists of two stretched canvases created using the fluid acrylic pouring technique, giving the artwork beautiful movement and organic patterns. The paintings are further enhanced with hand-coloured crushed glass and glitter, adding texture, depth and a subtle sparkle as the light catches the surface.

The colour palette features blues, greys, silver, iridescent gold, white and black, complemented by blue, gold, orange and pink crushed glass which I coloured myself. The overall effect reminds me of a shimmering underwater world, which inspired the name “Under The Sea.”

To enhance the colours and protect the artwork, the canvases have been finished with several coats of high-gloss acrylic sealer, giving the piece a beautiful sheen while helping protect it from dust and light.

The canvases are shown displayed in rustic wooden floating mounts, however these mounts are not included in the sale. The canvases can be hung directly on the wall or framed to suit your own décor style.

Creating artwork like this is something I truly enjoy. I love spending time in my workshop experimenting with paints, glass and textures to produce unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
